Meet Amy-Beth Bowker 👋

Amy-Beth is an Occupational Therapist and leader with 10 years of experience across aged care, disability and allied health sectors. With a Master's in Occupational Therapy and a background in health promotion and community population health, Amy-Beth's thinking has always been shaped by the bigger picture - not just what happens in a session, but what supports clients to live well in the future. That population-level perspective sits alongside a genuine commitment - supporting each individual to engage in the activities that bring meaning, purpose and independence to everyday life.

Amy-Beth's career has taken her across residential, community and home-based aged care, as well as the NDIS disability sector - from establishing clinics from the ground up, to leading large multidisciplinary teams, to the sharp end of clinical practice. That breadth means she understands what good allied health looks like at every level, and what gets in the way of it.

What Amy-Beth is known for is her steadiness. In a sector that can be high-pressure and fast-moving, she brings clarity and calm - the kind of leadership that makes people feel supported enough to do their best work. She is intentional about culture, creating environments of psychological safety where clinicians can ask questions, back their judgement, and grow with confidence. She cares deeply about getting the details right, communicating well, and making sure everyone in a client's circle - clients, care partners, providers - is informed and moving in the same direction.

Her approach to clinical work is grounded in wellness and reablement: working with people, not for them, building capacity and confidence so clients can maintain the skills to live the life they want.

Outside of work, Amy-Beth's world revolves around her family - her husband, three girls, a dog, park hangs and playground adventures. That grounding in what matters most in life shows up in how she works - with genuine care for those in front of her.
