Your Partner in Allied Health

BlueRocket provides flexible allied health services for privately paying clients of all ages. You don’t need to wait for a funding plan from a Government body to start therapy, you can self-refer and begin sessions immediately.

For many people, private therapy is used:

  • While waiting for NDIS eligibility approval.
  • To address mild to moderate needs that don’t qualify for NDIS funding.
  • For short-term or focused support around specific goals like emotional regulation, communication, or mobility.

If eligible, you may also access rebates through Medicare’s GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP). This plan is prepared by your GP and provides rebates for up to five allied health sessions per year across services like occupational therapy, speech pathology, and physiotherapy. You simply bring your GP referral, and we process your rebate after your session.

Funding & Access Information

Private payment with no rebates

You can pay for our allied health services in full, with no rebated, if you've already exhausted your annual Medicare limit under the GP CCMP program, or you don't have access to private health. More information on our session fees can be found here.

Medicare Rebates

If you have a chronic condition, your GP can create a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (GPCCMP) (replaced GPMP/TCA on 1 July 2025) so you can access up to 5 Medicare-supported allied-health sessions per calendar year (10 for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander patients) - and receive up to a $61.80 rebate per session. A valid referral letter is required from your GP.

Private Health Insurance

Many funds’ Extras cover part of the cost of allied-health services (e.g., OT, speech). Benefits vary by policy, annual limits, waiting periods, and provider registration. Check your policy for what’s included and any caps.

Bridging Services While Awaiting NDIS

We often support clients who are in the process of applying for NDIS funding. Starting therapy early can provide useful documentation and help maintain momentum while you wait.
