Home Care Packages
HCPs fund coordinated “help at home” for people with more complex needs. Eligible services can include clinical care (e.g., Occupational Therapy), mobility support and minor home modifications, when they meet your assessed needs and are recommended by appropriate professionals under program rules.
Upcoming Support at Home Program
The Australian Government is introducing the Support at Home program to replace the Home Care Packages and Short-Term Restorative Care programs from 1 November 2025. (The Commonwealth Home Support Program will move no earlier than 1 July 2027.)

Getting Started with BlueRocket
Accessing allied health through aged care funding is simple, but it does need to go through your registered aged care provider. BlueRocket partners with these organisations as an associated provider, delivering therapy services under their governance and ensuring everything meets program rules.

Talk to your Registered Provider
Let your care manager or coordinator know you’d like BlueRocket Therapy to deliver your allied health services. You have the right to express your preferences.

Provider Referral
Your registered provider sends us the referral and authorises BlueRocket to deliver the allied health part of your package.

Onboarding
We work with your provider to finalise the paperwork quickly, so therapy can start without unnecessary delays.

Therapy
Our clinicians come to your home or community setting to understand your needs, recommend equipment or modifications, and deliver therapy tailored to your goals.
