Meet Zinal Sathavara 👋

At the heart of Zinal's therapy is a belief in genuine connection. She sees therapy as a collaborative journey, one that begins with really getting to know each person: their strengths, interests, lived experiences and what they want their life to look like. That relationship-first approach helps clients feel comfortable, valued and genuinely involved in the direction of their own therapy.
Zinal works closely with clients, families, support teams and other professionals to ensure therapy is practical, engaging and woven into the rhythms of everyday life. Whether she's supporting a child building their first independence skills or helping an older adult navigate assistive technology or home modifications, her focus stays firmly on what will make a real difference in that person's world. Her key areas of focus include:
- Fine motor skills
- Assistive technology
- Home modifications
- Daily living and independence skills
- Emotional regulation and social skills
- Money skills
- Early intervention
Key training Zinal has completed:
- Falls Prevention
- Dementia training
- Assistive technology - including a range of wheelchairs and mobility scooters
Zinal is also fluent in English, Gujarati and Hindi (with an understanding of Urdu), and genuinely values the diversity of people, cultures and experiences that come with working in a community setting. Outside of work, she enjoys watching sunsets, playing badminton and tennis, spending time with family and friends, games nights and travelling.
