Meet Yana Gowriswaran 👋

Yana is a client-centred Occupational Therapist with experience delivering services across NDIS and community settings, supporting individuals aged 15+ to increase independence and participate more fully in everyday life.

She is highly experienced in conducting Functional Capacity Assessments and producing detailed reports to support funding outcomes, while delivering tailored therapy focused on daily living skills, mobility, and long-term independence.

Yana has worked with clients with a wide range of physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs, and is confident in prescribing assistive technology and recommending home modifications. She has hands-on experience trialling equipment such as manual and powered wheelchairs, electric beds, and other adaptive supports to ensure the best fit for each client.

She works collaboratively with clients, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create practical, achievable therapy plans that support meaningful progress.
