Meet Tia Combes 👋

Tia Combes

Tia is a Senior Occupational Therapist based in Busselton, WA, with experience supporting school-aged children and adolescents, those with Autism, ADHD, intellectual disability, and developmental delays. She offers a compassionate and empathetic approach to therapy, working through a family-centred, strengths-based, and play-based lens to support children in reaching their individual goals.

Tia is passionate about helping children build skills that support their independence, emotional wellbeing, and participation in everyday life. She works collaboratively with families, carers, and other professionals to ensure therapy is meaningful, evidence-based, and easily carried over into home, school, and community settings.

Tia’s key skill areas include:

  • Sensory processing and self-regulation
  • Emotional regulation and social participation
  • Fine motor skills and handwriting
  • Activities of daily living and independence skills
  • Feeding support and resistant eating
  • Play and leisure skills
  • Group programs (social and motor skill groups)

Tia is a Certified MoCA Assessor and is FIM trained, and she is committed to ongoing professional development.

Outside of work, Tia enjoys great coffee, spending time at the beach, and connecting with friends and family.
