Meet Madeline Appleby 👋

Madeline Appleby

Madeline is an Occupational Therapist who brings a collaborative and strengths-based approach to therapy. She is committed to creating a safe and respectful environment where clients feel empowered to build skills and confidence in ways that are meaningful to them. Madeline believes real progress happens in everyday environments, and she values evidence-based and innovative approaches that support sustainable change.

Madeline works with children and young people across a range of functional areas and is passionate about supporting participation, independence, and self-confidence. She is particularly interested in neurodiversity-affirming practice and takes a reflective, curious approach to her work, ensuring therapy is individualised and centred around each client’s strengths and goals.

Her key areas of focus include:

  • Early intervention
  • Emotional regulation and social participation
  • Daily living skills and independence
  • Sensory processing and self-regulation
  • Fine motor skills and handwriting

Madeline has completed additional training in:

  • Neurodiversity-Affirming Practice

Madeline brings warmth, curiosity, and enthusiasm to her therapy sessions, supporting clients to build meaningful skills at their own pace.

Outside of work, she loves the beach, netball, travelling, spending time with her dog, and enjoying quality time with family and friends.
