Meet Emily Gilyead 👋

Emily is an Occupational Therapist who brings a client-centred, collaborative, and strengths-based approach to therapy. She believes that when therapy feels safe, joyful, and empowering, clients are able to fully engage and feel proud of both the small and significant progress they make. Emily values building strong, trusting relationships with clients and their families, and she designs therapy that is routines-based so it fits naturally into everyday life.
Emily enjoys working alongside families, recognising that they know their loved ones best and play an essential role in supporting progress and goal achievement. She has a strong interest in early intervention and is passionate about supporting children to build foundational skills that enhance participation, confidence, and independence across home, school, and community environments.

Emily brings warmth, creativity, and a genuine enthusiasm for helping clients build skills in ways that feel meaningful and engaging.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her Golden Retriever, Teddy. She loves scrapbooking and pottery, and also enjoys swimming, reading, and watching movies and TV shows.
