Meet Claudya Chaufik 👋

Claudya is a Speech Pathologist who brings a collaborative and strengths-based approach to therapy. She is passionate about building strong, trusting relationships with clients and families, and believes therapy should be functional, engaging, and tailored to each person’s goals. Claudya values reflective practice and evidence-based intervention, and she is committed to continually expanding her knowledge and skills to support meaningful outcomes.
Claudya works with children and young people with communication needs, with particular interests in expressive and receptive language development and fluency support. She enjoys supporting children to build confidence in their communication skills and has a strong interest in narrative-based approaches, including Story Champs.
Her key areas of focus include:
- Language development (expressive and receptive)
- Stuttering and fluency support
- Narrative intervention (including Story Champs)
- Speech sounds, including Childhood Apraxia of Speech
- Literacy development (phonics, phonological awareness, comprehension)
Claudya approaches therapy with warmth, curiosity, and a genuine commitment to helping people participate more confidently in their everyday environments.
Outside of work, she enjoys walking by the river and spending time reading to relax and recharge.
